Kathy Romy joins Meals on Wheels as Executive Director

Bloomington, Ind. (August 10, 2010) – Meals On Wheels welcomed new executive director Kathy Romy on August 2nd. Romy will oversee the daily operations of the organization, including daily meal delivery to 60+ clients with the help of more than 200 volunteers.

Her goals are to increase community exposure of the Meals on Wheels mission.

“I feel really honored to work for an organization that provides an important service like this to the community,” Romy said.

Romy brings 14 years of non-profit experience, having recently served as general manager of the Bloomington POPS Orchestra. She holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Indiana University.
