Bloomington Meals on Wheels is delighted to announce a $19,800 donation from 100+ Women Who Care.  At their February meeting, the 100+ Women Who Care selected Bloomington Meals on Wheels as the recipient for their quarterly award.  To date, 100+ Women Who Care has contributed $219,200 to different not-for-profits in Monroe County since the group’s founding in November 2011.  On Friday March 7, members of this group presented Kathy Romy, Meals on Wheels Executive Director, with 198 checks of $100 apiece. 

Bloomington Meals on Wheels Bloomington Meals on Wheels has been serving the Bloomington area for 40 years. Founded in 1973, our program provides nutritious meals to homebound people who are unable to cook for themselves. We ensure that our clients receive two good meals a day delivered by a friendly visitor. Any person who lives in our Bloomington service area is eligible for Meals on Wheels. There is no age or economic restriction.
